Rubber protective wax has the characteristics of proper migration speed and a wide range of anti-ozone concentrations. Due to the characteristics of gradual migration to the product surface in the rubber compound, a dense and tough protective film is formed on the product surface, which can effectively shield the damage of ozone to the rubber product, and achieve the purpose of protecting the product and extending its service life.
Rubber protective wax is a kind of rubber physical antioxidant, which has a suitable content of normal and isomeric alkanes, reasonable carbon atom number distribution, and relative molecular weight.
Rubber protective wax has the following main functions in rubber soles:
I. Protective function
1. Anti-ozone aging: It can form a protective film on the surface of rubber soles, effectively block the erosion of rubber by gases such as ozone, prevent cracking of soles, and extend the service life of soles.
2. Anti-ultraviolet: Reduce the damage of ultraviolet rays to rubber soles, and prevent the soles from aging, discoloration, hardening, and brittleness.
II. Lubricating function
In the production process of rubber soles, rubber protective wax can play a certain lubricating role, making rubber materials easier to process and shape, and improving production efficiency.
III. Adjusting performance
1. Adjusting hardness: Appropriately affect the hardness of rubber soles, so that it has sufficient support and wear resistance while maintaining a certain elasticity.
2. Improve appearance: It helps to make the surface of the sole smoother and improve the appearance quality of the product.
